No !.... you'll just kill another cute hamster .... you hamster killer
If you really want another hamster, then go ahead and get one. just make sure to take good care of it, and it will live for a long time.
adopt one, but not as a replacement but as a companion=)
good luck and i'm sorry about your hammy
sure, if you want one and can take care of it like your supposed to then why not younwill learn to love this one to.
sure why not
yeah you should my hamster died and i have a new one that i love just as much!!!
Hi
I know how hard it is to deal with animal deaths. I've had dwarf hammies, syrian hammies, fishes etc and it's heartbreaking I know. But the truth is, the two years you get to spend with them is SO worth the fact they have to die. And I would love to advise you get rats (That may have come as a surprise) if you don't get squeamish about tails. They are SO loving, and you will never go back to hamsters. They never bite, even when in pain or scared it is extremely unlikely, they'll lick you, sit on your shoulder, curl up in your lap and love you, if you treat them with respect. Hamsters, after rats, are so unintelligent, nippy and horrible , although they're ok if you've never had rats. Rats do not carry diseases, it was the fleas on them, and they are even cleaner than cats.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com So my advice is, don't worry about them dying, yes it's horrible, but it's well worth it for the smiles they bring to your faces, and do some research on rats before you go to love-land, just some quick research, ask to hold a rat when you're at the pet shop, and you will not regret it, you'll fall in love. Just make sure you have a nice big cage (I got a HUGE one from ebay which cost less than a hammy cage!), rat food, lots of research and you will NEVER get another hamster!
I know your question was about whether to get a hamster but being upset, and if you still aren't convinced about the whole rats idea, here's my answer to your original question. Get another one. You won't regret it, and just go for it because, whilst letting an animal go is one of the hardest things, you can let them go knowing you gave them the best life they could ever have asked for x.
You could .....
But since your first hamster died it dosent sound like from old age ...............?
Have you done research.

I know your scared you dont want to go through a heart breaking moment at the end but theres things to help it live longer.
I suggest this food: ttp://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...
IN reagular food theres pellets thoose little brown ones. And theres seeds and usually all they eat is the seeds or any other treats. Well the little pellets is what givees them vitamins, nutrients, strong bones. And is just good for everything. That food i showed you is all its food (from the mixes) into one big thing so they dont miss out on anything health. You only feed them 1 - 2 blocks!
Next bedding. Care fresh and Aspen only please. Look for ASPEN if carefresh is to expensive. Do not use pine or anything other then the ones i just said. They have very bad oils and dust liek things ect, So use the ones i said . Clean there cage once a week. blah blah blah:) give hims fresh new water everyday. MAke sure the room isnt to cold. And if somethings goes wrong pay attention imedietly. Do some research on google: D If you can follow these steps he might be a little more healthy.
