i have a 5month old black bear hamster and i think that me is ready to get potty trained. i was wondering i the hamster potty's that they sell at petsmart really work.i wanted to get the one that has a top on it but pleas tell me what is best for my hamster!
you don't have to buy a specially made hamster potty .... Just get some kind of small room like a hamster bed with a top! having a top is sooooooo much easier for you and your hamster. now what you have to do is find the spot your hammie usually pees in. sorry its gross but you've got to do it! now transfer it into the small "hamster potty" and place the potty where your hamster pees. place your hamster near the potty and let him sniff it! it takes a while for your hammie to get the idea but its worth it! if your hammie tries to pee somewhere else just try again! if its not working put cat litter or sand in there as well as some hamster droppings! it is very unlikely. if i was you i would not bother spending the money. hamster would take alot of hard work and even then it may not work .
pretty sure but it takes a lot of patience and u have to get started quick because they need to get used to it. i dont kno the instructions, but good luck!
They are just comercail items hamsters don ' t get potty trained and why do you want one because you will b cleaning the cage anyway
