Hi
I recently bought two 5 week old rats from a private breeder, who was really nice, and kept her rats in lovely cages and handled them all really well.
I bought one dumbo, called Nelly, and a rex, called Plum. They were both fine to start with, but now Nelly (Dumbo) seems to be falling asleep in strange places, like hanging off the end of her tube, or on the bars, in her food bowl etc.
Here's a piccy:

This is their cage:

And she is actually the one being a bully, so it's not like she's being bullied. I don't understand. Please help!

My rats do this all the time.
Also Cause their babies obviously they will need plenty more sleep. Also cause they are pretty new there might just BE getting used to the environment.
I noticed in your picture do they have any boxes or igloos in there cage. Cause i could only see hammocks and my rats are much more comfy to sleep on a level rather then in the air. Infact Mine dont even use the hammocks.
