If he settles happily and then starts nibbling your shirt later, it is probably a sign that he wants to go to the toilet, so pop him back in his cage for a few minutes and then have him out again. Cuddling is always a good sign !
He is probably just trying to make a little nest for himself or make it a bit more comfortable. If he bites your shirt and tugs on it, it means its irritated with you as I found out with my older guinea pig. Her daughter digs into my shirt though and after a few minutes of adjusting it, she lies down and takes a nap (:
ha ha, I think what your Guinea Pig is trying to do is make a nest out of your t- shirt. My hamster does that she will lie on me like im her bed in her cage, and than will bite my shirt and try to pull it on top of her. He He! So funny.
He probably thinks that you are food. If you just ate, you could smell it and your pig would want to eat it, so he'd nibble on your shirt.
