i need to know how to get some rats without my parents knowing

I wouldn't betray my Dad's trust like that and other then that, it's not fair to the rats! Your parents will find out. Why don't you just ask them?
I completely agree with DinaG. You would definitely be making the rats or any animal suffer. Rats need a huge wire cage with lots of toys to play with, you CAN'T just shove them in some tiny container/box. That is a guaranteed way to make them depressed and/or sick. They would probably die very quickly. What would you do if the rats did get sick? Would you tell your parents or would you do nothing and let them die ? ... Even if you would tell your parents, getting animals without your parents knowing is an extremely dumb idea. Also, rats have a special diet, therefore you can't just feed them anything you eat. And no, you can ' t just buy any rat food from a pet store either. Most of those are very unhealthy for rats. In fact, one of the best rat food out there is sold online only
You can't. Besides the fact that they DO breed, they need a HUGE cage and not to mention the vet bills if they get ill, rats stink. How the heck are you going to hide the rats when you have to clean the cage twice a week? Rats also need lots of interaction - shoving them in a dark corner is cruel.
It would be extremely dumb to try something like that since rats need a large cage and a special diet. If you really want some discuss the pros of keeping rats as pets with your parents and how great of pets they make. Please don't make any animals suffer because you disagree with your parents!!!
First you will need food, a wheel or some toy, a hanging light bulb, a closet, and some wood chips. No sense in torturing your rats with darkness 24/7. and if they have to hide at least make them comfortable. Be responsible.
You cant. They will hear them, and rats need a big cage. You cant just put them in a box and shove them under your bed. Theres not much you can do if they wont let you get any
Don't do it. Rats smell and you'll be found out. It isn't right for your family or for the rats.

get a plastic container with a lid, then glue egg cartons to the outside (the cartons will sound proof the container). Poke 2 or 3 small holes at the top of the container for air. Cover the container with clothes and **** so your parents will just think its your threads, and they will be none the wiser
