Wet tail is treated with antibiotics, anti-diarrheal medications and subcutaneous/ oral fluids to combat dehydration such as a mixture of 1/2 unflavored Pedialyte or Gatorade and 1/2 water given via a non-needle syringe. You can find more details on wet tail at the following link:

If your vet does not have these, you must find another vet who treats hamsters. Here in the States they are called exotic vets, but I do believe they are also called that in India.
