I have to ask a rat and guinea pig question?
i used to have two guinea pigs, and three rats, and they always used to have fun running on the table out the back, all together, one gp was a girl the other was a boy, so they always liked chasing each other, but ever since the girl gp died the male is always looking down and sad, not his lively self, also i tried putting them on the table like i usual did, but now hes like not doing what he usually does and he is like stressing out and sad, with all the rats running on-top of him and stuff, i cant get another guinea pig cause this is my last guinea pig that im gonna own for a while, my choice. i also tried putting all the rats on the table together just them but they just stayed in their box and didn't really act like their usual self's like they weren't having fun, so why are they acting like this? and what can i do because when i let them out now, i feel sad because they don't look like there having fun, what can i do, i cant put the gp with rats any more cause its too much stress for him, how do you entertain a lone guinea pig and how do i entertain three rats, while still having fun, also i am sort of a lazy person so i don't really get into things like cleaning cage, i should clean it more regular then i do but i never get into the spirit of it so i always leave it to the last minute when the cage is really smelly and dirty. because i have to clean it all up after my self, since my parents are quite fussy with the back, so really i spend more time cleaning the backyard from cleaning cage then actually cleaning their cage. so how can i get myself into a routine that i can get used to and stick by it, im also don't really like putting rats on my shoulders cause they go through my hair and make it smell like them, which for some reason they always seem to smell, so i only do it like the day i actually wash my hair. so what can i do? and also my gp i don't think he likes me cos hes always like afraid of me and never likes coming with me. why do you think this is?
my guinea pigs friend died to he he was sad and still is but i think he will get better
