Rat has white teeth? HELP?
Both of my rats' teeth have turned
white. They are 6 month old rescues that I got in May. When their teeth first
changed color, they began to sneeze and lose hair, but that was treated with
baytril. They got better after that. But, several weeks later, other signs of
sickness began and I treated them with baytril. The symptoms disappeared.

I am aware that white teeth in rats is a sign of poor health. Although my rats'
teeth are white, they are eating, drinking, playing, and are as affectionate as
ever. They aren't showing any signs of being sick and are keeping a constant
weight. What could be wrong? Should I try a holistic medicine? My vet just
told me to wait until I see a problem. Is there something else I could do? Do
you think its bad breeding?
The Fit For Life plan involves a diet that relies heavily on "living" foods. Living foods are uncooked vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds.
