I decided to breed my rats ( i have up to 15 homes already lined up) and my female keeps wrestling with my male. he runs around behind her and she doesnt want anything to do with it. i am watching them very close and they arent biting each other but my male ended up with a bloody ear (i took him out!) is there anyway that i will be able to breed them? i tried them again for a little bit and all they do is wrestling no bitting or anything i am making sure. no one is even getting scratched i think it was an accident but you can never be to sure. will i be able to keep them together?

my female is a bully anyway and always has to be the boss. i had her in with another female and she was kinda of mean to her although they never fought. i put her in with a young male and she didnt mind him and he ended up getting sick so i had to seperate them and he ended up dying so i tried her with another male this one was a little older and she messed him up (drug him around by his back) he was alot smaller then her too. i dont know what to do she is a sweetheart to people and i would like to pass that trait on thats why i would like to breed her.
