Definately time to take her to the vet.
'Head tilt' can be caused by a few different problems, including infections in the brain or ear, so this condition needs to be taken very seriously, especially considering she is having trouble walking in a straight line.

It sounds like she has something wrong with her brain, and she needs to see a vet asap for the best chance of beating this.
Many rats can live full lives with head tilt (once the initial infection has been treated) but they do require special care. Good luck!
ear infection!
The three health conditions most likely to be the cause of loss of balance and/or head tilt are : 1) ear infection; (2) stroke; and (3) pituitary tumor. Ear infections are the most common of the three. The loss of balance and/or head tilt symptoms are indicative that the ear infection is very advanced, and needs immediate attention. Typically the exotic vet will put the animal on an aggressive course of antibiotics along with a steroid injection. Residual head tilt is common in the animal once the ear infection is finally cleared up. (I had a mouse who had a slight head tilt as a result of having had an ear infection. It did affect her balance to a point, but otherwise she was fine.) Please be aware that these infections are very hard to clear up, so I caution against taking your rat off antibiotics too soon if this proves to be the problem. For more detailed information on these problems, please see the following link:

You must click "Balance/Head Tilt Problems" once you get to the site. They will not allow a direct link to the page for some reason-sorry

Until you can see the exotic vet, put her in a one-story home if she is in a multi-level one. Remove any obstacles unnecessary that she can trip on. Keep her food and water in the same place and close to her igloo so she does not have far to travel.

I hope your rat gets better soon. She stands a good chance of recovery with proper treatment if it is an inner ear infection and she can learn to adapt with a stroke. A tumor would require surgery, but if she is otherwise healthy, there is no reason she could not recover.
Your rat has an inner ear infection and is in terrible pain and needs to see an exotic vet asap. This is going to effect her ability to eat and drink water, her entire life as she can not focus as usual. Please get her to the vet now do not allow her to suffer any longer.
