Can pet mice eat cow milk? ASAP. My mouse is close to dying needs protien!?
You should trying feeding it peanut butter. They love PB, it's good for them, and it's full of protein. Good luck. I hope your mouse makes it!
Don't feed them peanut butter. That can stick to the roof of their mouth and stick to their intestines, they won't be able to get it off. I'm sorry but I don't know if they can have cow milk. If your mouse is close to dying, she probably won't take anything. I tried that when my hamster was dying. I'm pretty sure that when mice and hamsters die, they die sort of in the same way. They won't have the energy to do a whole lot. By now it is probably getting cold. If you can hold it, wrap it in a blanket and hold it I'm sorry to say, but it might not make it. Try feeding it some food, if it doesn't take it,don't force it. And if it is not tame don't try and hold it, that will make it die faster, because she is stressed/scared. I hope your mouse makes it. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
Edit: I used the word "it" instead of he or she. I would've used he or she if I knew the gender
Dairy isn't healthy for rodents. Try giving your mouse soy milk, kitten formula or plain tofu for protein. You can also offer the little guy baby food. Peanut butter *must* be either baked into something, or thinned with water or soymilk.
Sorry your mouse is ill. It may be helpful to consult a vet for the rodent equivalent to Nutrical or a similar supplement. Good luck.
