What does it mean when my female guinea pig sqeakin kinda loud...Idk what it means cuz its my 1st guinea pig..and i have had her for like 4 weeks now...she lets me pet her and she will come out of her cage and when i call her name she will come to the cage door then i start petting her...Do u know what the sqeaking is?

i used to have a guinea pig and sometimes it would squeak really loud all night. Squeaking is normal. If thats the only symptom, she sounds fine

lol, shes just trying to communicate, no worries :)

but if the squeaking is soo consistent that it starts to annoy you, or you sense something wrong with it, follow your intuition and visit a vet

She could be hungry for some veggies! Thats what my piggies squeak for :) Try giving her some food, check her water to make sure she has some, and try holding her. She may just want attention! Good Luck!

Squeaking is TOTALLY normal. I personally rescued 2 guinea pigs that were abandoned, and they had baby's, then the baby's had baby's! so i have a lot of experience
