i want another Chinese dwarf hamster and i have a male is it possible to get another what condition's do u need for them 2 mate?
If your not mating 4 at the most I don't advise any more they need space for themselves sometimes. Please do not mate unless you have a whole lot of space to separate the father and then the males and females. You will need about 2 regular cages and one big cage not too crazy but spacious. You should know my cousins had 9 unexpectedly and then three more 2 weeks later because they couldn't tell which one was the father. I wouldn't advise it because you would need a lot of cleaning and bedding and food. etc ..... Well if you want to I suggest just putting them together make sure they are not siblings and it'll happen.
No if you get another now then they will fight. They have to have lived together from birth and even then I had to separate mine from its cagemate because they nearly killed each other.
Really shouldn 't consider breeding animals if you have to ask these kinds of questions.
The other one needs to be a female in oder for them to mate.
