Is this a good cage for a guinea pig from petco. PS NO C & C CAGES DONT LIKE THEM!!!

I AM ONLY GETTING ONE AND SHE WILL LOOK LIKE THE ONES FROM PETCO. NO C & C CAGES!
Well the length is great, but it's not quite wide enough. For 7.5 sq feet (good minimum space for one guinea pig) it'd need to be about 28 inches wide and that one is 18. But I think that your pig will be ok with this, as long as you are only getting one pig.
The two pigs I just adopted from the shelter were living in a cage smaller then that one and they were doing ok. (Definitely not something they should have lived in forever, but they were ok for the time being.)
Guinea pigs need at least 7.5 square feet for their cages. Even more would be better. Two guinea pigs should have about 10 square feet. Pretty much ALL pet store cages are far too small, most are only a little bigger than a litter box.
It can live in that cage, but it's still not big enough.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com If you DO get that one, make sure you let him/her run around out of the cage every day (don't get one of those ball things, they can hurt their spines/feet) to make sure it gets enough exercise.
It doesn't matter if YOU like the C & C cages or not. You don't have to live in it, they do. Either find an online site that sells PROPERLY sized cages, make one yourself, or don't get a guinea pig. Besides, building it yourself would be less expensive. Depending on where you get the supplies, it would probably be around $ 50. It would be bigger and less expensive than the pet store cage.
If you don't want to give your guinea pigs adequate living space, then don't adopt one! YOU don't have to sleep in it, they do! They don't want to sit around in a tiny cell, you call a cage. That cage is too small. A midwest pets guinea pig habitat OR a C & C cage are your only true options.
Also, if you don't want to get two guinea pigs because it is not convenient for you, don't adopt ANY. They also don't want to sit around ALONE in a tiny cell you call a cage. Guinea Pigs will be happier, healthier, and live longer if they are kept with a cagemate or more. Males with males, and females with females, to avoid any pregnancies. Or you can neuter one male and keep him with many females, but never more than one male with a group of females. A MUST READ:
http://www.cavyspirit.com/sociallife.htm pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com I recommend you go get a hamster instead. They can live in a small cage, and they like to be alone. You honestly don't seem to have enough heart or consideration to think about the animal before yourself.
I made my own cage for my guinea pigs (NOT a c & c cage) out of an old book shelve. it was easy to make, and very cheap to do. You can check it out if you want at

My mom just bought a guinea pig, and it seems to like this cage <> http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2751773>, it is two levels, giving it plenty of space to run around,
This cage would work great. It's super large and would have enough room to run around in. All I can say, perfect!
Yes , that is a good one.
You might want to try going bigger
if you can (:
