Two hamsters fighting?
The two female Winter White hamsters, that I got from the same litter the other day, are now fighting. I haven't seen any blood yet, but they go absolutely crazy. They chase each other around the cage and keep a safe distance from each other as much as possible. They also emit this strong stench whenever they fight, and it's not the smell of urine.
What's going on?
answer: If you've only had them a couple of days, it might be because they're in a new place. Get an extra cage, just in case. If they were from the same litter they've probably become territorial of parts of the cage. Or they just don't get along in their new home.
Don't know a lot about hamsters, but clearly they don't get along, whether it's because they are both female - or they just, in general, dislike each other. If they are fighting a lot you should split them up. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
Hope i helped..
Um, didn't anyone tell you not to put two female hamsters together? Female hamsters tend to be aggressive. You can't put a male and a female together, either, unless you want tons of baby hamsters.
Separate them they are never going to get alone.
Hamsters are solitary animals.
That means it's best to keep them apart/Alone.
get another cage to put one of then in
