Can guinea pigs eat yogies (yogurt treats)?

Can guinea pigs eat yogies (yogurt treats)? answer:
They can but they shouldn't! Despite what some here say, the problem isn't the milk. Most guinea pigs tolerate lactose perfectly well and breeders sometimes use "milk sop" (dry bread and milk) as a supplement for big litters. The problem is that they are too sweet/sugary and there are much better treats - like greens!

Like so many things, Yogies are garbage that pet shops sell to make money, not because they are good for your pig!

Are you talking about yogurt yogurt or the yogurt treats they make for rodents?
obviously they can eat the alter, I used to feed them to my guinea all the time. As for the former, I doubt it, but then I'd look it up.

I've owned guinea pigs all my life.
Yes, they can eat only a few though. I feed my guinea pigs one every week. They are high in sugar. They won't cause that much harm if you only feed them a few.

Good luck!
