I don't kill them anymore unless they are on the ceiling. Than it's every spider for himself. Long handled object with a cloth on the end might work. No need to set the poor thing on fire. Just adds insult to injury.

It might be dangerous! Try to hit it by throwin something from afar,as if you hit it with a bat and miss,it can crawl on it to your hand,or even spit its dangerous venoms! CAREFUL
