Yes, you can teach tricks, just like any other animal. I would reccomend looking on YouTube as I have done and/or Google as I don't know what tricks you want to know.

Yes, they can be litter-trained.

No, they will not attack a bird, but the bird may attack the Guinea Pig
Yes guinea pigs are wonderful pets that grow a deep attachment to their owners. Some love to be cuddled and picked up where others only enjoy being cuddled it just depends on their personality.
Yes they can be trained to do tricks mine can beg and is only 4 months. Its best to get them when their younger.Yes they can be litter trained but not like a cat or dog. They can be trained to go in a certain spot in their cage or in a box in their cage. No they will not attack birds but the bird could accidentally hurt the guinea pig with a gentle peck of its beak.

Me i own two male guinea pigs.
I've never owned a guinea pig myself, but I do work at an animal sanctuary where I care for 7 guinea pigs currently (and many more before that). I would imagine they can't be taught many tricks. I'm sure you can teach them simple things though, like coming when their name is called, or learning to eat from your hands. Other than that, theyre EXTREMELY cute, especially the babies. They are the goofiest little animals too, and they make the sweetest noises. I've also heard they can be very cuddly pets. I know that anyone I've met who've had them as pets have loved them. So I'd say yes they make good pets. As for your other questions, they MIGHT be able to be litter trained, it depends on how hard you work to train it and also on the individual guinea pig. And as for the bird, it should be fine. Theyre not generally aggressive animals, and im sure your bird can move much quicker than the guinea pig any way.
Ups: They are sweet and will purr when you pet them. They are gentle and generally do not bite. Most of them like to be held and are cuddly.

Downs: Their cages have to be constantly cleaned or they will smell really bad. They also run around and kick up bedding all over your house. They can also be quite lazy and boring sometimes.

They can't really be taught tricks. However, you can hand feed them. They will also squeak when you rattle plastic because they know they are going to be fed. They definitely can't be litter-trained. They will go to the bathroom wherever they want if you let them roam the house. However, in their cages they will usually pick a favorite corner. But you can't expect them to be litter box trained like a cat. They would not attack a bird. I'd be more worried about the bird attacking the guinea pig. I guess it depends on how big your bird it. Guinea pigs are docile creatures and herbivores so they do not prey on other animals.

I have owned two guinea pigs before so I DO know what I'm talking about.
Ups: They are sweet and lovable. They love attention! They like to cuddle. They have their own personality. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
Downs: They need attention, food (including a diet of fresh vegetables). Their cages need to be cleaned. They can become boring.

Their kinda like a tiny kitten except without the nipping and scratching.

Yes, but not a lot. You can train them to jump though a hoop, play dead (not recommended as it does hurt their back) and stand up.

To an extent, they will usually go in it in their cage, but don't be angry if they go out of it.

My question is will the bird attack the guinea pig. I wouldn't think that a guinea pig would do such a thing, but remember to supervise them.
