How big does the average rat get?
I have three rats and I don't know how big they'll get.I've heard about 6 inches.I'm fine with however big they get, I was wondering.=-)

mine are 7 inches without the tail they are basically full grown.

Weight (male average adult) : 250-550 gm
Weight (female average adult) : 225-400 gm
Pet rats reach a body length of about 9-11 inches and their tails add another 7-9 inches (males tend to be larger than females)
they can grow up to be the size of a ferret from nose to tail.
