My gerbil seems to have broken its wrist what should i do?
I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars at the vet. But is this something that I should take the gerbil to the vet for? This is my lil bro's first pet and he doesnt want to lose her. By the way, she can't eat regular gerbil food so i give it kitten formula( yeah i know its wierd) but it helped her gain some of her weight back.
answer: How did she break her wrist/leg? The vet won't be able to do a whole lot, in the way of actually fixing the leg. Why can't she eat normal gerbil food? One paw should be sufficient to eat with, Honestly, call the vet and ask for the best course of action. The best you can do is hope and keep feeding her whatever works.
