WHAT SHOULD I DO!!! My guinea pig died today because my grandma left the door open to my room and my dog got into my room and bit my guinea pig!!! Now my other guinea pig is in shock!!! What should I do??? Do I leave him alone??? Or do I pet him alot so he knows hes ok???

Second, do you mean literally in shock (medical condition), or just shocked?

He's probably really scared right now, so get the dog out of the room first of all. Scared animals, no matter how small, can still be dangerous. Put on some gloves, kitchen mitts, whatever, and gently pet him and speak to him. Show him your a friend, let him see you punish the dog, just show him your not going to hurt or kill him.

Your right make sure the guinea pig feels safe. Maybe mover him to another room for a little bit. And maybe you could get a new one that looks like the old one and trick ur guinea pig into thinking the dead one is ok! (the last answer was a joke but u can still try it).

This is truly awful and so sad. Are you sure you should even have a guinea pig with a dog in the house? Your poor guinea pig is mourning for his friend. He needs lot of love and reassurance and you also need to get him another friend as guinea pigs cannot live alone. How do you know this will not happen again?
