PLEASE ANSWER!!! do you think my gerbils sick?
these r his symptoms-
-not so energetic
-losing weight
-eyes not as bright as before (more squinty)
-he drinks a lot of water lately! 5-8 minute breaks
-i can feel his rib cage and individual ribs
answer: I don't own any gerbil, but losing weight is not good with any pet... If those are the symptoms, the possibility of it being sick is very high; however I don't think much people can tell specifically what happened to it. So why don't you take it to a vet.
