I have a UV bulb that has never been used and it's still in the package. Will it still put out UV for my reptiles? Or will it not work since I've had it for a long time? Do they only lose potency after being used for like a year, or do they just not put out UV based on how old they are, period?
it will be fine mostly because lightbulbs don't decrease in there chemical qualities (unless broken) over time
