no description, but go with what you know. If you dont think you can take care of more then 1 then dont get more then 1 and if you feel like you can then get 2 or more, but you will have to get a really big tank. For 1 turtle you should go with a 30 or 40 gallon breeder tank
If you are still asking basic questions like this, start with one. Turtles are not social animals and will do well alone.
If you do get more than one, remember that sliders, the most commonly-sold turtles, are very territorial. The usual 10 gallons per inch of shell (cumulative) will not be enough.
Well since theyr isnt mor info about the q. .. i guess i shuld say as much as u can take care of. and it depends on the size of the tnk. i hav 2 red eared sliders. bc thtts all i can taake care of, all i want. and all the tank can hold
