i adoped a female adult leopard gecko 4 years ago, and then adopted a male 2 years later, put them togather and she layed 2 eggs, and it never happened again, im not interested in breeding i was wondering if this will help me to tell the age of my female
The age for leopard geckos when they they stop producing is 13, but the number of there clutches start to go down at around age 6.So its basically like this year 1=0, year-2=8, year-3=12,4=16,5=14, 6=10 and from 6 it goes back down until about 12 or 13 which is considered retiring age for them.
if u go online and look up what age they reach the age they can produce children, u will have a better idea of how old it is, maybe not the exact age, but it might give ua better idea of how old she is.
Yes any animal that has eggs has an egg limit. I am not sure the age but she has to be old.
