i have a bearded dragon about 5 months old or 6 and i have to get rid of it someone told me theres sites that i can sell it too and they sell it for me is this true?
You cannot literally sell it to the site, what your friend means is that there are site you can post ads on for people to see then they can contact you and you talk Business from there. When selling online it is a good thing to be fed ex certified or find a company to ship with so you can ship your beardie to his new home because the people that check out your bearded dragon will more than likely not be local and ask if you ship.So if your not shipping him make sure you put on the ad "pick ups only ".
You can post a add on these websites (post a picture with the ad, this gets the buyer more interested and if you want through in the enclosure for some extra money or interest)
Kingsnake.com
Craigslist.com (it is illegal to sell animals on here but people do it all the time anyways so it does not matter)
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com http://faunaclassified.com/ Make sure when you are selling to someone you either check the rep on the forum or ask what else they keep and the set up they have in mind.Just to make sure your beardie is going to a good home (which he would, now one is going to pay $ 100 to eat a lizard like someone else said). Good luck!
well you should never sell your reptile on the internet. they might be killers or just plain out crazy. and you don't want the buyer to kill your lizard or to mis treat it. and they might not know anything about a lizard. your best answer would be to take it to a lizard rescue or the dumb friends league or. the buddy center. i am a registered vet. and do not listen to Google ads that might lead to something really bad. hope this helps. please email me.
