can bearded dragons bred in captivity still give you salmone

pretty much somes it up ^ ^ ^
All reptiles, captive bred or wild, carry salmonella. As long as you wash your hands after handling your beardy you'll have no worries! I've owned reptiles for the better part of 40 years and have never had a problem nor has any of my family. No need to scrub with lava rock and Clorox, just soap and common sense!
Captive or not here is the breakdown on wether or not to freak out about salmonella . Do you clean its home regularly? Do you change the water daily? Do you get its poop out of his home when you see it? If you do all of this then the changes of you getting salmonella are cut down greatly.
Everyone says that, but I don't think it really matters whether there's a possibility of it or not. I kiss my lizards all the time and haven't gotten sick!:)
After they breathe fire on you. yes they can
