Hey i can help a little and im certain im right, they want to sleep most of the daytime hours, your first week u shou ldn't handle it very much let it get settled. Ur snake will shed about one time every two months, never feed ur pet in the same aquarium it sleeps in because it can sometimes make a pet mean, no sand n aquarium, they have special reptile wood , u can go to petco and make sure it says for snakes, during the day ur tank temp should be between 80 an 85 deg. At night keep it between 73 an 74 deg, make sure u have a light on ur cage to keep steady light, they eat rats, mice, frogs.if ur pets healthy the skin will be tight, the body will be round. There eyes will be clear, wen the eyes are cloudy and there shedding if u attempt to pic up ur pet you may get bttn, hope ths helps
