Help my bearded dragon wont eat?
I got a 3 year old beardie a couple weeks ago and she was pefectly fine and ate normaly and was a golden color. A few days ago she ate about 30 crikets and she hasn't eat much since. I have given her plenty of greens and water soaked pellets but she hasn't eaten in a few days. And now shes starting to lose her golden color and is getting darker she has brand new heat lamps and uv bulbs but she just won't eat. I do not use calci-sand I use a reptile carpet and I'm doing the exact same thing her previous owner did. I need help what should I do.
P.S. I'm a first time beardie owner
Hmmm.. I'd consult the lord of the rings manual to deal with this problem.
awww :( go to the vet. something is wrong.
Mine wouldn't eat good for the first few days I had them. They get bored of the same thing. She could be desensitized to those crickets. Go to the petstore and get mealworms. Offer her about 10. If she doesn't eat them, take the out and offer them again later. Never leave live food in with them if they aren't hungry (This doesn't apply to the greens, leave those in there.) She should be fine after eating those 30 crickets for a few days. Try giving her a lukewarm bath and letting her soak for a few minutes. Dont make it deep but where she can stand. Try dripping water on her nose and see if she will drink it. She is just stressed cause she is in a new home.

It is possible that the bearded is starting to brumate/hibernate. Here's a good site to help explain beardy brumation: http://www.beardeddragon.org/articles/br…
