How do i know if mine is hibernating? What should i do if he?
My grown son has snakes and none of his does.
Unless it is exceedingly cold in your house there is no reason for your snake to be hibernating. In captivity they don't hibernate. Breeders often simulate hibernation to improve breeding success, but it is not required to keep your snake healthy.
My corns only hide for extended periods when they are getting ready to shed, or if their heat has stopped working.
If he seems lethargic, check his heat sources, especially in the middle of the night. He may be getting too cold at night, so has no interest in eating. A thermometer with a min/max setting is wonderful for checking late night temps.
When he starts snoring.
