Hi there,
Just a quick question, my 5/6 month old ball python has a damaged ventral scale up towards his neck, it isn't raised, but a little further apart from the next one down and the one above it has a slight chip to it, it looks as though he has caught on something, maybe during his last shed as it was after his last shed that I noticed it.
There is no discolouration and it isn't affecting his behaviour, he isn't showing any signs of stress or pain, curious, happy to be handled and he is eating and pooping regular.
He is in between sheds so I'm not sure if this will sort itself out after the next shed or if I should be concerned.
One thing I do know is that it isn't scale rot but I would appreciate any advice, even if it is to tell me not to worry.
