i am going to new york and i have to take my bearded dragon for a 2 hour car ride there and set up his cage in the freezing cold. It wont be cold inside the house though. Do you think it will surivive? Can i have some tips. BTW i am going skiing there. Thanks. I am gonna bring the cage and lights and heat and everything but like what should i carry the bearded dragon in to the car ride there? IT IS A BABY BEARDED DRAGON!
You can get a portable heat pack like what is used when you ship reptiles through the post. You can find them at your local sporting goods or hardware stores. The ones I use are called "body warmers" made by Grabber. They come in different sizes and last 4-12 hours depending on which one you buy, they are also very inexpensive so you should buy a few for the ride there and back and a few extra in case of emergency.
