I just took my leopard gecko out of his cage, I noticed he was swollen near his butt. He also has poop half way out, but it's dry. What's going on? How can I help him? The area is red, and I ' m really worried about him. Please help.

He sounds dehydrated . Make sure he always has clean spring water in his tank at all times and clean the bowl daily. For now, try giving him a warm bath. The water should be lukewarm, and keep him in there for 10-15 days. Keep doing this a few times a day and if he doesn't start improving in a week then call a vet.
You should call a vet for professional help. Sounds like he is constipated or is suffering from impaction. Maybe he is not getting enough water ...?
