I just bought two baby Red Eared Slider turtles yesterday at Tropical Fish Pond. One is smaller that the other. The smaller one doesn't eat. He just lays under the basking area all day while the other turtle is active. I have searched all over the internet for an answer. Also, I have the proper stuff, a basking light, space, a heater, a filter and some other stuff. The turtle that isn't eating also has a little bump on its shell. The person who sold probably said that it was okay. I really want to know what to do, I don't want my little guy to die. My two turtles names are Glasses and Lemon. Glasses is the one that isn't eating. The filter is a four point five watt one. Is that enough for a five gallon tank? The five gallon tank is inside a thirty gallon tank. Glasses is about the size of a half dollar while lemon is about one and two thirds of a half dollar. Please please please answer this. The small five gallon tank used to hold goldfish, and other turtles. The filter and stuff were used with the other animals as well. The thirty gallon tank used to hold fish, and other turtles. The other turtles were sick and died. Now, it only has two turtles about the size of a dollar bill. They are about 2 years old. The baby ones are less than a year old. Please answer this again, Thanks!
