I woke up this morning to see that my baby orange and grey leopard gecko has had its colors faded. Is he shedding? If so i DO have a moist hide but he is not going in.
He is most likely shedding, once he is ready, he will use his teeth and rip off and eat his skin, this is normal for leopard geckos.
He's going into shed, yes you can mist, but make sure not too do it too much. Another way to help him you can put a moist hide his enclosure. You can easily make one with a margarine container or anything simliar, just cut a hole in the side of top big enough for him, put in damp paper towel and he'll go in there is he feels like he needs it.
hes shedding that's all. he will go into the moist hide when he is ready. i would just leave him to it because he will know what to do when he feels like it. it shouldn 't take no longer than a week for him to shed
