I leave often for weekends at a time and sometimes it's difficult to find someone to come over every morning and night to feed my geckos and turn their heat lamp off and on. Is there such thing as a timed heat lamp?
You can buy a timer for 5 bucks at Wal-mart. But geckos (with the exception of day geckos) don't need lights anyway since they're nocturnal. I use heat pads and heat tape for mine.
yeah, at hardware stores, they always have lamps, and I don't know where but some hardware stores (I don't know how many, but not many lol) have timers where you can twist it to set it for your time that you want to turn it on/off. Hope I helped!:)
you can get timers for any thing that plugs into the wall at like a hardware store. and you can set them to when you want the light to go on and offf.

just buy a heat lamp and put a timer on it thats what i do
