Someone i know is selling his two Bearded Dragons which i would love to have but i only have a certain amount of room for a Viv, so depending on the answer to this question, i can work out if i have the room or not, the question is:
What is the minium size Vivarium i could get for two adult Bearded Dragons
But aswell, if i can get him to sell me just the one, what is the minium size Viv for a single adult Bearded Dragon?
Thanks for the help:)
Min is 40 gallons for one but I have always hated that they just look so cramped. Plus when I moved mine to larger tanks they are so much more active and happier.
I wouldn't advise housing them together ever. They can get along fine until one day they don't. I took in a pair of bearded dragons a few years ago who were both 6 years old and had lived together since hatching so I kept them together here. One morning I woke up to a healthy bearded dragon and another that it took $ 800 to save her life. So now I never house any together even hatchlings are separated after a couple of days.

But I would go no less than a 100 gallon tank for 2 bearded dragons if you plan to house them together the more room the better since they can stake out their own favorite places. But I would still be prepared to separate just in case.
My babies are housed in 55-75 gallon tanks and my adults are housed in custom built 6ft long vivariums. These are not necessary just a personal preference.
The thought always said is the bigger the better, now commonly accepted is 40 gallon breeder tank for one adult, for two I believe it is 55 - 65 gallon tank. now some will tell you to keep them apart, while I would ask if they are friendly with each other I wouldn't worry about it. Its up to you, look at what they are being keep at now, to give you an idea too, if your friend has a 40 gallon, and two beardies that are living comfortably and healthy, then go with a 40 gallon breeder tank. you will probably get the speal of they are territorial and should be keep alone, but alot of people keep pairs and I have seen more in one habit so, to each is own there IMO.
