Hello I am going to buy a snake within the next 2 weeks and i have a couple choices to choose frm ok i have a guy selling me a nicaraguan boa witch is 3.5 feet long for 85 dlls and another guy selling me a ball python 4 feet long for 70 dlls but i dont know which one to get i have had snakes in the past before about 4 (2 corn snakes 1 king snake and 1 boa) but i have no idea what to get i want to breed witch ever snake i get but i dont want something too big or something to small and thin something in between and badass no corn snakes im tired of em they are too boring or should i get a boa constrictor? THANKS
Your best bet is the Ball Python. Docile , doesn't get that large, etc. Nicaraguan Boas can be a bit aggressive if not handled early and often.
"Bad-***" is not a criteria for choosing a snake. If that is your criteria, you really need to rethink your plans for a pet. Also, what became of your other snakes, especially the boa? Snakes are a long term commitment as many will live 20 years and up in captivity. A snake is a serious investment in long term care and that care is pretty specific.

Even a normal Colombian Boa female will reach 8 + feet in length and weigh 30-40 pounds. For many, that is "too big". For a snake that size, you need another person at least close by that is willing to handle the snake. This is strictly for safety.
I also have to recommend that you purchase a baby snake and handle it properly as it grows. This will go a long ways toward keeping aggression and other issues at a minimum.
I suggest the ball python. They are more docile than boas . But it all depends on if this guy was handling these snakes or not, if they aren't handled chances are they could be aggressive, that is the down fall of buying them when they are older. Boas get a lot bigger than ball pythons as well. Be sure to research before you buy either of them.
ball python is the one to get. however, many people breed them already. if you want something bada * s then you need to spend major money and get a crazy morph to breed, not just a normal color ball python. go to www.LLLreptile.com and check out the snakes they sell and the prices.
I prefer boas, myself. That said, a snake will not escape unless you let it. But if you do, almost any snake could eat a sugar glider. Just sayin '.
if your tired of corn snakes then you shouldnt get another snake, cause youll get bored of that one i suggest getting a diffrent pet , PS dont use pets as status symbols eg badass, rich, ...
I sugest a garter snake ... that way you dont need anything to keep your socks up.
