Why do I have foam at the top of my tank?
I have a 55 gal tank. I have got API aquarium salt in my tank, I think it is 1 tsp for every 5 gal of water. The water has a foam on top, is this from the salt? All my water perimeters are in check, I test the water daily. Thanks
answer: the foam can be caused by many things..... fish in the tank..........filter........algae.....
Have you been doing weekly 20% water changes? If so it could be too much salt but I'm not sure about the affect of salt in a tank since I don't use it.
