What turtle should i put with my other turtles?
I have 3 common musk turtles and am buying another turtle for Christmas I don't know weather to buy a Mississippi map turtle or another baby common musk. The problem is 2 of my turtles are fully grown and 1 is nearly fully grown. The map turtle will be about 3 inches the musk baby will be about 1 inch ?
answer: You shouldn't mix species. A disease that one turtle is immune to another might not be. And you don't know what kind of diseases your turtles already have, so I really suggest that you do not buy a different type. You'll either end up with dead, or very ill turtles. Don't waste your money.
for safety reasons you should just get the same species as the ones you have, you don't want to mix bacterias, which can lead to sickness.
