Soak it in about an inch of warm water for several minutes once or twice a day, and raise the humidity in the cage by misting it with warm water every day. Also, make sure to give him/her a rock or something with rough edges that they can rub up against to make a tear in the dead skin. If they cannot make a tear in the skin, they probably wont be able to get it off on their own, and it will become flaky, irritating, and possibly a danger to their health.

Mist your snake once a day until he sheds. I also like to make a humidity box. I do this by taking a glad tupperware container && cutting a hole/door one the side && poking holes on the top lid. I've never seen my snake in it before, but i've never had a problem with shedding either.
Lots of humidity ! If you don't have a vaporisor try putting a small bowl/plate of warm (not hot) water for it to get into. Do not try and help it physically ! Sometimes it doesn't come off all at once and sometimes it takes a long time to get it all off .A wet, warm washcloth will work too
Raise the humidity in his cage by misting it with warm water 1-2 times a day till he sheds. You do not need to soak his cage. Move his water bowl closer to his hide so moisture/water vapor can enter his hide and he should be able to do the rest on his own.
