Ok a few years ago I found a salamander or newt or sompthing near my pool. It was orange and i let it go but iv never ever seen one hear ever. I live in a fairly dry area with no natural sources of water close by. I live in corona california. Do you think there could be more? where would I find them?

Probably not :( newts and salamanders live near the water, and if you dont have any natural water sources, then you probably wont be able to find one easily. If you are looking for one as a pet, both newts and salamanders are fairly common and relatively cheap at a local pet store.
