Hi, My bearded dragon lenny is loves his vegies and even though he is a jouvinile he has never left any.
I was wondering if i could add some live plants to his vivarium i only have room for 1,
he has been eating some choped mint, coriander and baisl every now and then and he really likes them so i thought could i put the hole plant in his vivarium if so which one should i add and do you no any other good plants that he could have in his vivanium
Hibiscus is safe, but he'll have it torn up pretty quickly. His daily salad should be dark leafy greens such as mustard, turnip or collard greens. Greenbeans, peas and carrots and alfalfa pellets can be added as well.
www.beautifuldragons.com has great food info that is safe to use
That's a nice idea! Except they're pretty destructive within their environments, and he'll probably end up digging it up. Rather grow his greens in a window -box or a veggie garden, and feed them to him fresh every day.
