how to cure lizard eye infections?

i have a leopard gecko and his eyes are not opining as a result of shedding its been a few months and i cant brig him to the vet and cant find any home remedies i hear that it can be fatal please HELP !!!!
at least you are trying. the only thing I can suggest as a reptile specialist is to soak him good, then you need to gently rub the old shed in a circular motion. you probably will have to do this several times but there is a chance you will be able to remove the dead skin. all you can do is try. soak him for 10-15 minutes, in luke warm water soak him in something that has a lid on it so the humidity from the warm water will help loosen the old shed. make shure he can breathe while he is in the humidity/soak chamber. take Him out and right away gently rub the eye in a circular motion. hopefully the old molt will start to loosen up. e-mail me at herphelper64 @ yahoo.com I am always willing to try and help the new `herpers out there. good luck young man, do not give up on your friend maybe together we can solve the problem. as long as he still eats there is a chance. if you don't have one already make a humidity chamber for him, if you do not have one e-mail me and I will tell you how to make one out of a small bowel with a lid. hold your head up this is how young people become experts in husbandry, don't worry about the people that criticize, they don't know any better, hope I can help you through this
You will not be able to help your gecko yourself. Most likely it has contracted a parasite, it is very common for geckos. Or if you have sand in his tank, he most likely has injured it due to sand getting under the eye lid. THe only safe thing you can do, is warm water soaks in a clean sink or bucket. But it probably won't work, it's been far to long. He needs a vet that specializes in reptiles, it is the only humane thing to do, it has obviously suffered for far to long.
Shed skin stuck in the eyes is very painful for them. This is common when moist hides aren't provided and shedding problems occur. The vet will apply solutions to loosen the shed, then under magnification carefully remove the shed skin. If not done properly permanent damage can be done to the eyes. They usually won't eat well because of the pain. Just get him to an experienced reptile vet asap. This is part of responisble pet care.

You either need to go to a vet or give the gecko to someone who can. You are neglecting your pet by denying medical care when the gecko needs it. Having no money for a vet should mean no pet, not let the animal suffer and wait for it to clear up if it ever does.
its been a few months since he could open his eyes.

Are you a moron .................. VET.

If you cant afford the vet, give hime to someone who will take him in.

Your selfish and rude to have your gecko suffer. I feel sorry for your pets.

No Money to care for your pet? Why do you still have internet service, then?

F U C K the net ... take your pet to the VET
