A 10 gallon is minimum for a baby. An adult needs 20.

I got mine and used a 10 gallon but had to invest in a 20 gallon because when Leopard Geckos are small, they grow rapidly

Also their max lifespan is 10 years

You need a heating pad too so the brand I got was Zoo Med

You also need a lamp with a red bulb, which in a store, you can find by the heating pads

at minimum have a 20 gallon long tank. My leo used to love to wander around his tank. A 55 gallon would be ideal, but a 20 gal long will suffice. Make sure you have a proper heat source and lighting.
DO NOT use a heat rock, an under tank heater is good, but a heat rock will burn.
Use a good calcium sand for substrate as well and be sure to provide a small dish of cal/pho powder (calcium/phosporus) for him/her to lick from.

i would say...a 10 gallon because it's been done before but a 20 gallon long is MUCH better :) after putting all the hides in a 10 gallon tank, there's hardly enough room. also, don't listen to people when they say you need light. you don't because they're nocturnal xD also, leopard geckos use belly heat...as in...you need an under tank heater. hope i helped!

a ten gallon is only good for youngsters that are still growing or MAYBE ONE adult, but a 20 gallon LONG tank is for 2 adults or a nice size for one adult.
