My leopard gecko is blind?
hey, well i noticed yesterday that one of its eyes was shut and it had not shed well and it had some keeping its eye shut i managed to get it out but the eye was just the wrong colour to what the other1 was clearly was no longer working, and iv just got him out to check how hes doing and when i put him back in he didint know where to walk and was bumping into everything untill he finally found a hide, also he hasint ate anything for around 3 months and has gotten really skinny even when i hand feed he doesint eat. what should i do :S
answer: well i think it could of be stuck shed around his eyes, so when he does shed the old skin that's left tightens and this causes the eye to get really saw and it leads to blindness, so i got told that the eye and the toes are the most troubled body parts when shedding so i had to rub around there eyes and toes, this happened to me but around the toes and i tried giving him a bath with warm water and it got better but then there were still little bits of skin stuck on that i missed so one of his toes fell of because it was too tight, it happened again but then the next time i managed to look after him well the first day it didn't come of under any circumstances so i left it for the next day and i kept on giving him a bath until it came of pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
