I have snake and every so ofter they get mites. I have heard of this product and that it was one of the best out there. But the problem is i just don't know where i can get it. Can i get it from some place like walmart or any other grocery store. Thanks for the help.

Usually you have to order it because not even many pet stores carry it. It's $20 to $25 a can. You can go to Wal-mart to the pharmacy section and look for the head lice products. They have a product called Equate Bedding Spray for $5 or $6 which has the exact same ingredients as Provent-a-Mite. I don't care what anyone says, but it is equally effective to PAM. With PAM, all you're paying for is the name. There are other products which are identical as well found in pharmacies such as Walgreens. Just look for lice products with Permethrin being the active ingredient.

You need to go to a pet store they are the only ones to have the mite treatment. Meijer or Walmart don't have anything for snakes, they just have some things to get you started. They are based on fish, cats, dogs and some small animals like rodents or birds that is it sorry.
