Ball Python is having shedding problems help!?
So yeah, it's having an incomplete shed. I've been misting his cage with a spray bottle every couple of hours, should this be fine? What else do I need to do?

Yeah, definitely DON"T use mineral oil! That stuff is really, really bad for snakes as it will seal their scales and make it so they cannot absorb moisture through their skin and they can dehydrate really quickly. A ten to fifteen minute soak in lukewarm water will help a lot and then using a towel to help her peel some of it off will work. Or, after the soak, you can take a nice terry cloth and kind of wrap her inside of it and stick that inside a pillowcase and loosely close her inside. As she is wriggling her way out of that, the friction of the towel and the moisture from the soak can help peel the excess skin off. I’ve done this a couple of times with baby ball pythons and it works great. Never try and dry peel the skin off, though. You can rip the scales and cause injury and scarring.

And definitely check the temp inside your cage. Misting helps, but not if the temp isn't high enough to get a good amount of humidity in there.
Good luck!

Alright oil is a no no. You need to take your ball and soak it in a tupperware container half full of warm water. Put the lid on and leave it there for ten minutes. Once the ten mins are up you need to take the snake out and get a towel, dip a corner of the towel in hot water and gently help the shed peel off. If the shed does not come off easily or is pulling on the skin then leave that piece on. Repeat once a day until the shed is complete.
Also check your temps if they are not high enough then misting the cage doesn't do jack ****.
Oh god, do not put anything on your snake but water. NOTHING! Now that we are past that, if you are really concerned and want the stuck shed off you can get a lukewarm wash cloth and rub her gently with it. It should come off eventually, but it might take a few times of doing it. It won't hurt her to leave it on, just try to get your humidity up next time. One way to do that besides spraying to get a large water dish and move it to the middle or to the warm side of the enclosure if needed. Also, put plastic wrap on the lid of the enclosure if it's a tank with wire top. If you are using a heat lamp do not put it under the heat lamp!

I don't really like soaking, or letting it 'swim' in a bath tub, or anything like those two things because their are far too many things that can go wrong. Just use a lukewarm wash cloth. Not hot and definitely not cold.

there some type of oil that can be used i think its mineral oil but dont quote me,try putting the snake in a bowl of warm water for a while, sounds like there isnt enough moisture in the cage.
