I have 2 female crested geckos they both are around 5 years old they have been in the same cage forever. Kush is a yellow one and she lost her tail very young moose is brown and kinda fat. Recently moose has been biting kush's head. I have split the cage in half so they cant see or get to each other. i took them apart for 2 days. they are still fighting. ANY IDEAS?
they still will fight until one gecko becomes dominant
Even though they are the same gender, that doesn't mean they don't fight. Territory fights and fights for food can still occur, even without any males, as both females then assume a dominant position in the cage. Fighting for a particular area to sleep or rest during the day can be other issues which could be causing trouble. Should it persist, it would be advisable to get a new cage.
