I have 2 beardies and im finding it very expensive to keep them. Obviously they have a constant supply of vegetables in their viv and they eat a box of crickets like theyre going out of fashion lol! So i was just wondering if there are any plants around which i could just pick and feed to them - maybe could save me some money on the veg???
any suggestions appreciated!
If you are absolutely certain that none of the outside plants have come into contact with chemicals and/or pesticides, then here's a few you can try: dandelion greens (not the flower; not much nutrition in the flower , but the leaves have a lot of natural calcium), domestic rose petals (do not use wild roses), hibiscus (flowers and leaves are ok), day lillies (entire plant is edible), and petunias (entire plant is edible). Here's a site to look up more edible plants:

Mine love dandelions, mustard greens, collard greens, romaine and red leaf lettuce, carrot shavings, etc.
